PRIVACY AT YARD EATERS

Your garden is personal.

Last updated September 6, 2026

This notice explains the information Yard Eaters uses to operate the website and Planner. We do not sell your personal information.

Information you provide

Depending on what you use, this may include your name, email, account profile, garden location, grow spaces, plans, photos, garden records, beta application, newsletter signup, and messages sent through the contact form.

How we use it

We use this information to provide and improve the Planner, match location-based garden guidance, secure and recover accounts, process subscriptions, respond to requests, and send communications you asked to receive.

Payments

Stripe processes payments and stores payment-card details. Yard Eaters receives subscription, receipt, and billing status information needed to provide paid access, but does not store your full card number.

Service providers

We use service providers to host the website and Planner, manage accounts and garden data, process payments, deliver email, protect forms from abuse, provide maps and location matching, show privacy-enhanced video embeds, and measure basic site use after you consent.

Cookies and analytics

The website asks before loading optional analytics. You can decline them or change your choice using Cookie Settings in the footer. Essential storage may still be used for security, sign-in, saved preferences, and core product functions.

Keeping and protecting information

We keep information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in those messages. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
